My idea for an Old Man Logan video game would be more like the current series of OML by Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino. Instead of adapting the road trip across America ruled by super-villains it would be better if it were similar to the cult favorite X-Men Origins Wolverine Uncaged Edition where the narrative switches from the present day to the wasteland as each character you introduce has a spot in the flashbacks. You could have any character from Spider-Woman to Laura Kinney also known as X-23. The biggest problem, however, would be the original story by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven that introduced the Old Man Logan as a character. It would fit better as a prologue based on the Secret Wars tie-in by Brian Bendis and Sorrentino where Logan is moving throughout Battleworld and having flashbacks to the original story arc. So in simple words just re-skin the pivoted Wolverine video game from 2008 into Old Man Logan and work with Marvel. Preferably after the Fox merger.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nIdentity Crisis is a controversial mini-series from Brad Meltzer and Rags Morales from 2004. This was controversial due to what happens to Ralph Dibny aka Elongated Man’s wife Sue. She is murdered in her home that is extremely safe and when I say that I mean the best people possible were involved in creating the security systems. It is then revealed she was “assaulted” by the villain Doctor Light and members of the League returned to find Light and as a result lobotomized him. It was revealed that they had done this many times after they had defeated enemies. There is a fight with Deathstroke that did a great job of establishing how he could take down characters like Hawkman, Firestorm, The Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, among others. Including the set of panels in which Slade impales Wally in mid-run.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nWhile Secret Wars was an event I think an adaptation of it would work perfectly as an MMO. Marvel’s most recent MMO Marvel Heroes<\/em> was recently shut down and well, people were really upset as there is a DC MMO, and while Marvel Heroes<\/em> was more Diablo than DCU Online it was a way for Marvel fans to further get into the Marvel Universe without having to collect toys and play Disney Infinity. It didn’t help that the real creme de la creme that was Marvel Universe developed by Cryptic Studios who blew everyone away with both City of Heroes<\/em> and City of Villains<\/em>. It was set to launch on the Xbox 360 in partnership with Microsoft Game Studios and had a pretty cool trailer that is the only existing footage of the game.<\/p>\n
