The summer games fest rolls into the Fall with the THQ Nordic Tenth Anniversary Showcase. Did we get our predictions right? Or are we deadly inaccurate? Find out.

So on the latest episode of Player’s Club, Emmett and I gave three predictions on what we thought we’d see revealed at the Tenth Anniversary Showcase of THQ Nordic that promised at least six reveals. One that we had known about and mentioned on the Player’s Club episode (which you can find here). was Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed. Emmett predicted a new Titan’s Quest game after having a hunch what with the game being on Game Pass, Darksiders 4 considering it’s been a while since Darksiders III and Darksiders Genesis, and a Nickelodeon Remaster that he then pivoted to the said game remaster being Nicktoons Unite. I went with Darksiders 4 as well, Elex II due to it having been announced, and something new with Kingdoms of Amalur since we received the remaster of KoA somewhat recently, and we’ve yet to get the new DLC for the game as well. What we would end up getting is still not what I would have expected. So here are the game reveals from the THQ Nordic 10th Anniversary Showcase.

  1. Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed
  2. OutCast 2
  3. Expeditions: Rome
  4. MX vs ATV Legends
  5. Superpower 3
  6. Elex 2
  7. Jagged Alliance 3
  8. Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake

So just to recap the predictions

Emmett

  1. Titan’s Quest
  2. Darksiders 4
  3. Nicktoons Unite

Allan

  1. Darksiders 4
  2. Elex 2
  3. Kingdoms of Amalur

While it would look like I’m the winner of this there is something that was mentioned on Player’s Club, and that was myself saying that if there would be a Nickelodeon game announced by THQ Nordic it would be Spongebob related as he is the golden calf of Nickelodeon.

Verdict:
