Every trailer out there for an upcoming video game always has a song in it that is supposed to sell the viewer on said game. A few I can name off the top of my head are Bobby Darin’s “Beyond The Sea” for BioShock 1, “I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire” by The Ink Spots for Fallout 3, and “Beast” by Nico Vega for BioShock Infinite. Nevertheless, for every gamer out in the world, there is a song used that they love. So it’s time to start rocking out with our favorite music used for video game trailers!

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is one hell of a game. Perhaps the biggest journey of that game was one of self-discovery. With Miles being the only thing protecting New York City, you can tell by watching the trailer that he is overwhelmed on many different fronts. The Underground, Roxxon, and more threaten his home.

There is a point in the launch trailer where Genke more or less says that whenever Miles talks about Spider-Man he is talking about whatever Peter is going through. This shows the gamer the main theme of the game: Be Greater, Be Yourself. As the title of the song used in the trailer explains: It’s My Time. Namely, Miles’ time to shine as the one and only Spider-Man in the city.

After the game’s announcement people were comparing the situation to Uncharted: Lost Legacy considering the time after the release of the related games. However, with the upcoming release of Ghost of Ikishima which is apparently going to be a similar experience to Miles Morales in terms of size and time to completion.
